Rap Mogul, Suge Knight to stay in Vegas jail through weekend

This is an update, regarding Marion 'Suge' Knight's arrest.  He will have to spend time in jail through the weekend.   If you recall and read our previous article, he and Katt Williams got arrested for stealing a camera from a paparazzi.  Last we heard, he allegedly faces 30 years in prison for a previous charge and Williams will just have to pay a fine.  We pray he makes his life better after this.

Celebrity News: Suge Knight, Katt Williams arrested in paparazzi camera theft case

Suge Knight and Katt Williams have been arrested for allegedly stealing a camera from a paparazzi.  We don't agree, but can comprehend why Suge Knight could have done it, simply because his life was recently endanger.  Allegedly, Knight was recently shot, (along with Chris Brown) for trying to publish a tell all book, which allegedly had details about LAPD, possibly plotting 2pac's death. 

According to CNN.com, Knight, 49, faces up to 30 years in prison because he has a prior conviction for assault with a deadly weapon. Williams, who was arrested when he showed up at court for a different assault case, faces a maximum of seven years. Knight was arrested in Las Vegas. Prosecutors said they will ask for Knight's bail to be set at $1 million and for a $75,000 bail for Williams, 43.

Celebrity News: P. Diddy Sued By Unpaid Intern For Making Her Get Coffee And Answer Phones

It's already hard for college students to financially survive, but even worse when they do not get paid by their boss.  In the case of P. Diddy, he allegedly did not pay this intern to serve coffee and answer phones.  P. Diddy can afford to pay this intern her money, since he allegedly boasted he bought his son a half a million dollar luxury car.

According to tmz.com, Salaam probably has a real case, thanks to recent changes in the law regarding unpaid internships (no more free labor for course credit) ... but we're guessing she's probably hurting her chance at landing a full-time gig with the company by filing the suit.

Celebrity News: No Felony Charges for Kanye West in LAX Scuffle With Paparazzo

For all of you readers whom have been following the headlines for Kanye West being investigated for allegedly assaulting a Paparazzo, he will not be charged.   Allegedly, he beat the guy so bad, he had him on the gurney, but we feel just because of his fame, he got off.   If he had of been an ordinary black man, he no doubt would be charged.

According to KTLA.com, the photographer was treated at Marina del Rey Hospital and released the same day after being diagnosed with a contusion and muscle strain, Broersma wrote, adding that assault charges were declined because he “did not sustain significant injury.”

In the meantime, we hope this photographer will be more careful when taking shots of these celebrities, because some of them like West can be very mean and snobby.

Celebrity News: R&B Singer Raz B Reportedly on Life Support After Nightclub Fight

Many of you recall the R&B singer, Raz B back in late 90's who sang with group B2K.   Raz B is clinging onto life, after a fight at a nightclub.   It would be very sad if this young man dies, because the deaths do not seem to stop among famous black celebrities.

In case you do not remember, Raz B is the singer who allegedly claimed late Chris Stokes molested him, according to this You Tube video.

According to KTLA.com, Raz B, whose birth name is De’Mario Monte Thornton, was smashed across the face with a glass bottle during a concert on Thursday, where he was set to perform.

Celebrity News: Chris Brown ordered to do 1,000 hours community labor, probation reinstated

After Chris Brown's seizure, the judge has considered giving him community labor.  If you recall, that's what he had before and his probation has also been reinstated.  We do believe if he had not been ill, the judge in this case would not have been so kind and his sentence would have been much worse.

According to CNN.com, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge James Brandlin signed off on 1,000 hours of such "community labor" for Brown as agreed to by the singer's camp and prosecutors.

Thank God, Chris Brown has another chance to clean up his act, after he almost lost his life.  We wish him the best and know he will do well this time around.

Chris Brown has been rushed to the hospital, after suffering a seizure.  Allegedly, the hip hop superstar refused to be treated, but we do not know if this is true.  However,we are definitely surprised Christ Brown has seizures, since a child, allegedly.

Celebrity News: Rapper 50 Cent Pleads Not Guilty to Domestic Violence

As many of you know, 50 Cent aka Curtis Jackson was in a domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend, Daphne Joy.  Now, Daphne Joy who is an actress and model allegedly claimed 50 Cent kicked her door down and assaulted her.   However, now 50 cent pleads not guilty to domestic violence.  Let's hope he has a good attorney, only if he's telling the truth. 

According to ktla.com, during the argument, Jackson allegedly began destroying the woman’s home, causing an estimated $7,100 in damage, according to the L.A. City Attorney’s office.

Celebrity News: Man Killed at Rappers, T. I. and Lil Wayne Concert

 A young man was stabbed to death at Rapper's T. I. and Lil Wayne concert.  For all you lovers of rap music, nothing will ever change not unless you stop supporting it.   For too many years, violent deaths have occurred at many of these hip hop and rap concerts.   The music artists may not be personally responsible, but if their lyrics are mixed with violence, then it does not help anything.  It's time to graduate from rap music, so we can have a more peaceful society.

According to wsoctv.com, James Price, 24, was found stabbed to death in the gravel parking lot of the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. Police said he and his girlfriend had already had one altercation with a group of men before the concert. Afterward, detectives say the group attacked again.

Celebrity News: Rapper DMX Arrested for DUI

It seems like Rapper DMX can't get his life together.  Can you believe he's been arrested again for DUI.  As we inform you readers all the time, a lot of these rappers are always getting in trouble, simply because they don't take their lives seriously.   What's worse, they are not setting an example to our youth.

According to tmz.com, DMX has more than a dozen arrests under his belt now -- and was last busted in February for driving without a license, also in South Carolina where he lives now.

Much as DMX gets into trouble, it would not surprise us if something very bad happens to him.  He can't continue to keep on living dangerously and expect to live a long life.  He has to admit he has a problem first, then make a vow he will be a better person.  However, it seems many rappers like him are blinded to recovery and refuse to be good people, because they do not want to be looked at as "square."

Celebrity News: Arraignment for Rapper 50 Cent Postponed

As many of you know, Rapper 50 Cent aka Curtis Jackson was allegedly arrested for assaulting his girlfriend, Daphne Joy.  Now we do not know why, but Jackson's arraignment has been postponed.  Allegedly, he did not show up in court.  Sometimes, some celebrities have their attorneys appear for them, so this does not surprise us. 

According to ktla.com, on June 23, Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a call reporting a domestic violence incident involving a woman, a city attorney’s spokesman said in a statement. The woman had previously been in a three-year relationship with Jackson, with whom she has a child.

In the meantime, we sure hope 50 cent works out his problems.  We will keep you updated on the latest news as it comes to us.

Now, this reminds us of the years ago, after Kanye West's mother passed away.   Allegedly, he used to snap at the media all the time.   We have not heard of such news until lately.  West is accused of beating a paparazzo at the LAX airport.  He can be heard allegedly saying, 'no, you're trying to get me in trouble...'

This is very sad if Kanye West is guilty of beating this man.   This man appears to be very unconscious and if he beat him to this point, it is a possibility he could die.   However, we think the man is going to be alright.   

Next time, if Kanye West does not control his temper, he could kill a person.   We feel very bad for this victim and pray he fully recovers.

Celebrity News: Judge Revokes Chris Brown’s Probation in Rihanna Assault

Now, Chris Brown's probation has been revoked by the judge in the case.  At first, he was doing good when he did his community service.  However, we think this a lot to do with the hit-and-run accident. Possibly, he could do time and get out early, the main thing is that he learns from his mistakes. 

According to KTLA.com, the decision to revoke Brown’s probation was related to an alleged hit-and-run accident back in May.

Celebrity News: Rapper 50 Cent Charged with Assaulting Ex-Girlfriend

Rapper 50 cent has been charged with assaulting his ex-girlfriend in LA.   His girlfriend tried locking him out of her apartment, but he allegedly kicked the door down and got violent with her.   When will it ever come a time when rappers learn that maybe their career could be the cause of their infantile behavior?   If you are not making a positive impact through your music and rapping about violence, then how can you possibly have peace in your own life? 

According to KTLA.com, if convicted on all counts, he could face up to five years in jail and $46,000 in fines for allegedly injuring the woman and destroying $7,100 in property during the altercation.  

We will not see a great change among African American men unless they stop listening and idolizing these rappers, in our opinion.  Furthermore, it seems like some black men try to live their lives like the rappers they listen to and this why we possibly see broken relationships among black men and black women now.   Rappers like 50 cent are not making a positive impact for black men in America, allegedly.

Hip Hop News: Chris Brown charged with hit-and-run

In case you didn't know, Chris Brown has been charged with hit and run.  It seems as though since he and Rihanna broke up, he does not know how to stay out of trouble.  Although, we have seen the two together in public, from time to time, possibly he does not know how to deal with what happened before the break up. 

According to CNN.com, the Los Angeles city attorney filed charges of hit-and-run driving and driving without a license, according to spokesman Frank Mateljan.  

We hope Chris Brown gets himself together, because life is precious and if he has not forgiven himself for allegedly beating on Rihanna, then he needs to do so and do better.  In the meantime, we will keep Chris Brown in our prayers.
