Hip Hop News: Judge Orders Philly Rapper Meek Mill to Take Etiquette Classes

The judge has ordered Philly Rapper Meek Mill to take etiquette classes.  This is something we wish all rappers would be forced to do, simply because many of them, including many hip hop artists do not have class nor sophistication.  So many of them act, talk and dress like thugs and harlots, it's a shame.

According to NBCPhiladelphia.com, the orders came at a probation violation hearing for Williams, who is on probation for a 2008 gun and drug conviction for which he was sentenced to 11 to 23 months in prison. He served eight months in jail and began five years of probation. There has been too many hip hop and rap artists who have been in trouble for guns and drugs for too long.  Why doesn't a civil rights or religious leader within the black church step up and demand they all take etiquette classes?  It would be a good idea, since a lot of them are allegedly misleading our youth who also need to learn etiquette manners.

It's about time our young people and even adults admire music artists who have much class and sophistication, instead of those who allegedly identify with the street life.  Then, possibly there will be an end to rap and hip hop music for good.

Hip Hop News: Chris Brown charged with hit-and-run

In case you didn't know, Chris Brown has been charged with hit and run.  It seems as though since he and Rihanna broke up, he does not know how to stay out of trouble.  Although, we have seen the two together in public, from time to time, possibly he does not know how to deal with what happened before the break up.

According to CNN.com, the Los Angeles city attorney filed charges of hit-and-run driving and driving without a license, according to spokesman Frank Mateljan.

We hope Chris Brown gets himself together, because life is precious and if he has not forgiven himself for allegedly beating on Rihanna, then he needs to do so and do better.  In the meantime, we will keep Chris Brown in our prayers.

Suspect ID’d In Murder Of Rapper Lil Snupe, Argued Over Video Game

We live in an era when grown men like 36-year-old Tony D. Holden will kill a child over a video game.   We cannot understand why there is no fine line between young people and grown ups within the black community like it used to be.   Allegedly, Holden killed this 18-year-old rapper, Lil Snupe over a video game.

According to HipHopWired.com, allegedly, Holden and Snupe, born Addarren Ross, were having an argument in the apartment that spilled outside. Snupe, who signed a record deal with Maybach Music Group rapper Meek Mill's Dreamchasers label last year, was shot twice in the torso and declared dead at the scene by the coroner.

There seriously is a problem among black men if some adults refuse to be an example of being mature, instead of fighting with a young person over a video game that means nothing.  It's very sad to admit the truth, but there are many black men and black women like Holden and this is why much of the black community seems never to succeed.

Will Rapper DJ Quik be there for his daughter who was charged with Murder of her Child?

After hearing the news about DJ Quik's daughter a few weeks ago, we wonder if the famous legendary rapper will be there for her when she on trial for murder.   In case you do not know about her murder charge, Davieanna Marlena Blake was charged with murder, after not doing anything about her child's father, Matt Alvarez severely beating their child to death.

According to The Urban Daily, Quik’s daughter, 21-year-old Davieanna Marlena Blake, told police she and Alvarez argued earlier in the day and once it was discovered their child wet the bed as he slept, Alvarez whipped the child with a leather belt. Blake says she didn’t stop the whipping because she feared upsetting Matt Alvarez even more. Blake said she went to work and when she came home, her son was sad and had a plethora of bruises all over his body. The sight of her son caused another argument between her and Matt Alvarez. Only this time they were arguing about whether they should take the toddler to the hospital.

Often times, in the black community, many times some black women seek love in all the wrong places, possibly because they long for their own fathers (or even mothers) to be their for them.  Now, we are not sure what type of relationship Davieanna Blake had with her famous father, DJ Quik, but we sincerely pray he will be there for his daughter when she goes on trial for the death of her son.

In the meantime, we will keep Davienna in our prayers.
