Celebrity News: Maxine Powell of Motown Records' dead at 98

The woman behind the scenes of Motown songs has just died.  Maxine Powell was indeed a business woman, often giving suggestions to the music artists' fashion and style.   Maxine Powell was a classy woman and also taught many famous singers to have class whenever seen in public.

According to myfoxdetroit.com, Powell didn't sing or write songs, but those associated with Motown say Powell was as essential to the label's operations as any performer or producer.

 Maxine Powell lived to be 98 years old, may she rest in peace.
